Mexico’s new President AMLO promises radical changes

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, widely known as AMLO, has been sworn in as the president of Mexico, making him the first left-wing leader to hold office in over 70 years.

Soon after taking charge on Saturday, AMLO promised radical changes to combat corruption, poverty and the gang wars over drugs.

Al Jazeera’s John Holman reports from Mexico City.
