Colombia’s coffee workers despair over low wage

Coffee prices are at a 12-year low, and as a result, Colombian farmers are struggling to make a decent wage. Speculators, overproduction and the power of multinationals, are being blamed for the drop in income. Now, coffee producers are calling on big companies like Starbucks and Nestle to subsidise farmers.
