UNESCO: Restoring Brazil museum after massive fire may take years

UNESCO has joined Brazil’s efforts to salvage the remaining artefacts at the National Museum.

The site was gutted by a huge fire earlier this month.

Experts say it could take at least a decade to restore what’s left.

Conservationists say other heritage sites in the country are also at risk from a lack of funding.

Al Jazeera’s Mariana Sanchez reports from Rio de Janeiro.
