There is growing pressure on Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to expand illegal settlements as he launches his re-election bid.
Last week, Israel announced plans to extend an existing settlement located south of Bethlehem.
Rights groups insist the land belongs to Palestinians.
