Afghanistan: Millions risk running out of water in severe drought

Afghans are suffering drought so severe that a quarter of a million people have abandoned their homes so far this year in search of water and food.

The UN says more Afghans have left their homes because of drought than war and that upwards of two million people will not be able to get enough to eat unless action is taken.

Al Jazeera’s Victoria Gatenby reports.
