As part of Qatar’s continued support to the Syrian people, the Qatari campaign for the relief of the Syrian people delivered 10 state-of-the-art ambulances to local councils and medical centres operating in the area of East Gouta in rural Damascus.

The delivery took place on a Syrian territory near Bab Al Hawa crossing between Syria and Turkey. The ambulances were handed over to representatives of the councils and medical centres in areas which are not controlled by the Syrian regime. The Qatari campaign to help the Syrians had imported these state-of the-art vehicles.

The relief aid which was delivered to the people of rural Damascus also included food and humanitarian aid and medical assistance, and baby milk and medicine.
The delivery of medical and humanitarian assistance aimed at meeting the urgent needs of the people living in areas where the health sector is affected due to attacks by the Syrian regime, which caused disruption of delivering the medical needs, particularly the requirements of urgent aid.

The delivery of ambulances comes within the continuous assistance in various fields provided by Qatar to the brotherly Syrian people, and delivered to tens of thousands of Syrians inside and outside the country.
