Indian police have shot dead four men suspected of raping and killing a vet in the southern city of Hyderabad last week, according to local media reports.
The men were arrested in connection with the gang rape and murder that caused a nationwide outrage.
Police said the men had been taken to the scene of the alleged crime and were shot after they tried to escape, the Indian Express reported.
