Cannes film festival: Inside the career of Indian Director Mira Nair

The Cannes Film Festival is where Director Mira Nair found her fame.

In 1988, she became the first Indian filmmaker to win the Camera d’Or for Best First Feature for Salaam Bombay.

Now, 30 years on, her socially-conscious work continues to have an effect on the industry.
