Yemen’s national army killed 25 Houthi militants in clashes west of Taiz province, national press agency reported Saturday.

The army forces, backed by the Coalition jets, freed Al-Maksab valley and Al-Mathhabah mountain from Houthi militia.

Meanwhile, Iranian-backed Houthi militants exhausted all rounds of talks sponsored by the United Nationas, from Geneva to Stockholm, Yemen’s minister of information Muammar Al-Iryani said.

The remarks came during a meeting in Amman with Jordan’s Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government’s spokesperson Jumana Ghunaimat and other Jordanian officials.

The Houthis do not believe in peace, and are waging an illegitimate war, he added.

The international community failed to pressure the militant group to follow the Stockholm agreement for the past three months, Al-Iryani said.
