The Prime Minister’s government may have survived a no-confidence vote, but her Brexit deal looks dead in the water after it was defeated by a record margin in Parliament.
May now faces an uphill battle to bring together political parties with competing objectives to strike a compromise deal. If that doesn’t work, there are a range of other possible outcomes.
