Dozens of trucks have taken part in an exercise in southeast England testing plans to deal with long queues at the port of Dover – if the United Kingdom crashes out of the European Union with no deal.
The government says it needs to prepare for all eventualities – with some experts predicting 45-kilometre queues once new customs checks come in.
