DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s ambassador, Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, met with members of the General People’s Congress at the centre of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in Riyadh on Tuesday.
The General People’s Congress is a political party in Yemen that was founded by its former leader, Ali Abdullah Saleh, who was killed by the Houthi militia in Dec. 2017.
The Saudi ambassador reviewed different stages of support provided by Saudi Arabia to Yemen in various fields such as military, aid, and economic, under the directives of King Salman and the Crown Prince.
The meeting also included a presentation on the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, which serves all Yemeni governorates in the sectors of health, education, energy, electricity, transport and agriculture.
