Vatican delays taking action on sexual abuse by priests

The Vatican has delayed a vote by Catholic Church leaders in the United States on measures to tackle sexual abuse by priests.

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops has been told to wait until next year, to ensure more oversight and accountability.
