Nicaraguan police have violently broken up anti-government demonstrations by an alliance of opposition groups calling for President Daniel Ortega to step down.
Since April, 350 people have been killed and thousands injured in anti-government protests which were sparked by pension reforms, but have developed into a wider anti-government movement.
