    Kabul’s women drivers handling more than traffic

    While Afghanistan is making some progress on women’s rights, some change is taking longer.

    Only a tiny percentage of licenced drivers are women, and many of them often face abuse and threats from men who see a woman behind the wheel as an affront to Afghan culture.

    Al Jazeera’s Tony Birtley reports from the Afghan capital, Kabul.
