The International Criminal Court says it will continue to do its job undeterred.
The court was responding to threats of sanctions from the US National Security Adviser John Bolton, should the tribunal investigates US military activities in Afghanistan.
However, the lack cooperation from states stands in the way of the justice that the court can realistically deliver to victims of war crimes and genocide.
