Afghan army makes significant gains against Taliban in Ghazni

The Afghan military has made significant gains against the Taliban in Ghazni city.

The assault began on Friday and at least 400 people have been killed, a quarter of them civilians.

There is still fighting on the outskirts of the city, which lies 150km (90 miles) south of Kabul.
