Al Jazeera’s Mahmoud Hussein spends 600th day in Egyptian jail

It has been 600 days since Al Jazeera journalist Mahmoud Hussein was arrested and jailed in Egypt.

Hussein is accused of broadcasting false news to spread chaos, which he and Al Jazeera deny. He has repeatedly complained of mistreatment in jail. Al Jazeera is demanding his release.

Al Jazeera’s Laura Burdon-Manley reports.
