Several people were killed on Wednesday when two young girls apparently blew themselves up in northern Cameroon, an area often targeted by Boko Haram jihadists from neighbouring Nigeria, local sources said.
According to a source close to the local government, two girls blew themselves up as they were begging in the central market in the regional capital Maroua, killing around 10 people. A security source confirmed to AFP that two attacks struck the city and that there were victims, without providing details. AFP
