All I see is another year of suffering,\u201d Sultan said.<br \/>In 2012, the UN Conference on Trade and Development predicted that the Gaza Strip could become \u201cuninhabitable by 2020.\u201d<br \/>\u201cThe social, health and security implications of high demographic growth and overpopulation are among the factors that may make Gaza uninhabitable by 2020,\u201d the report said. The Gaza Strip suffers from a scarcity of water sources. Up to 97 percent of the groundwater is unsuitable for drinking, forcing the local population to buy supplies from itinerant vendors.<\/p>\n<div class=\"injected-block block-wrapper block-custom-bg padding-1 bottom-spacer--m\">\n<h4>\n<strong><span class=\"chars-style\">SPEEDREAD<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<\/h4>\n<div class=\"block-content\" readability=\"32\">\n<div class=\"with-separator\" readability=\"9\">\n<p>\nIn 2012, the UN Conference on Trade and Development predicted that the Gaza Strip could become \u2018uninhabitable by 2020.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">\nA shortage of medical services is another pressing problem. The circumstances on the ground show that we are in a very bad situation.\u201d<br \/>High unemployment adds to the enclave\u2019s woes, with up to 60 percent of young people unable to find work. \u201cWe have been living in an uninhabitable place for many years,\u201d Ali Salman, 31, a freelance nurse told Arab News.<br \/>\u201cThings have been getting complicated since the war in 2014, and if you look at our situation you will find that the elements of life are absent here.
