It recovered some of those losses later in the morning and was last down 1.6%. Japan&#8217;s <span>Nikkei 225<\/span> <span>(<span class=\"inlink_chart\"><a href=\"https:\/\/money.cnn.com\/data\/world_markets\/nikkei225\/?source=story_quote_link\" class=\"inlink\">N225<\/a><\/span>)<\/span> declined 1.7%. South Korea&#8217;s <span>Kospi<\/span> <span>(<span class=\"inlink_chart\"><a href=\"https:\/\/money.cnn.com\/data\/world_markets\/kospi\/?source=story_quote_link\" class=\"inlink\">KOSPI<\/a><\/span>)<\/span> also dropped 1.4%.
