{"id":38785,"date":"2019-04-04T20:23:01","date_gmt":"2019-04-04T20:23:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qatar-news.org\/qatarnewsEn\/?p=38785"},"modified":"2019-04-04T20:23:01","modified_gmt":"2019-04-04T20:23:01","slug":"us-house-votes-to-end-support-for-yemen-war","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qatar-news.org\/qatarnewsEn\/?p=38785","title":{"rendered":"US House votes to end support for Yemen war"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"51\">\n<p>\nALGIERS: Algerian protesters who succeeded in pushing out longtime President Abdelaziz Bouteflika now want other key officials to leave too.<br \/>Demonstrators are planning new nationwide protests Friday to call for the departure of the men who head Algeria\u2019s government, legislature and constitutional court.<br \/>They\u2019re dubbed \u201cthe three Bs\u201d \u2014 Prime Minister Noureddine Bedoui, Constitutional Council President Tayeb Belaiz, and upper house of parliament president Abdelkader Bensalah.<br \/>But constitutional experts warn that forcing the three men out would leave a power vacuum. The protest movement hasn\u2019t unified around a single alternative plan to govern Africa\u2019s largest country and replace a leadership seen as corrupt and repressive.<br \/>Bouteflika resigned this week under pressure from protesters and the powerful army chief.
