Chief Financial Officer Tim Stone told Snap on Tuesday that he was leaving the company, just eight months after moving to Snap from Amazon. <\/p>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph speakable\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/1564408\/000156459019000673\/snap-8k_20190115.htm\" target=\"_blank\">departure<\/a> comes at a difficult time for the company, which has been struggling with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2018\/10\/25\/tech\/snap-earnings\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">a declining user<\/a> base and falling stock. Snap has seen an exodus of executives over the last year, including human resources chief, Jason Halbert \u2014 who left earlier this week. Vice President of Marketing Steve LaBella and Chief Strategy Officer Imran Khan departed the company last year. Other executives who exited in 2018 include Chief Financial Officer Drew Vollero \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2018\/05\/08\/technology\/business\/snapchat-cfo-tim-stone\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Stone&#8217;s predecessor<\/a> \u2014 and Vice President of Product Tom Conrad.<\/div>\n<div class=\"zn-body__paragraph speakable\">Snap also confirmed its vice president of investor relations, Kristin Southey, left the company in November \u2014 as <a href=\"https:\/\/cheddar.com\/videos\/snaps-cfo-and-vp-of-investor-relations-quit-after-less-than-one-year\" target=\"_blank\">first reported by Cheddar<\/a>.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>San Francisco (CNN Business)Snap is losing another high-profile executive.
